With Thanksgiving coming up this week and kids at home for at least 4 days straight (some schools are closed all week) we thought it would be fun to post some quick, entertaining, and thought provoking experiments you can do at home with your kids.

Check out this You Tube video that skims over 100 ideas in 15 minutes – we are sure you’ll find one that appeals to you for some fun on Thursday morning or afternoon!

A shout out to Chris Tacklind, a mentor with us since inception in 2008 for sending this along.

On a related note, We Teach Science has been mentoring middle and high school kids in Algebra for 4+ years with phenomenal results – we are delighted to announce that we are expanding to include science as part of our mentoring menu in 2014. Stay tuned for details in January next year.

Happy Thanksgiving from the We Teach Science Team
