I came across a review of a new Italian gull-winged supercar last week called the Pagani Huayra. I found two things that were totally unique about the car and the man behind it:

  1. It has four control surfaces (think airplane flight control surfaces) to stabilize the car at high speed as it takes on turns
  2. The designer, Horacio Pagani, has no formal education in aerodynamics or engineering. Rather, this Argentinian composites specialist has pulled together a trully beautful piece of work.

Read more about the car on their website, and watch the review at the Wall Street Journal
